Badge & Hose is a trade name of GovAssess LLC ("we," "us"). These terms govern your use of the Badge & Hose website and test preparation services at badgeandhose.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Badge & Hose provides online practice questions, study tools, and practice simulations for public safety entry examinations. All practice content is original and fictional, written to mirror the format of official exams — never their actual content. Badge & Hose is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by I/O Solutions, Inc. or any government agency.

2. No guarantee of exam results

The Service is preparation material only. We make no promise, guarantee, or prediction about your score on any official examination, your placement on any eligibility list, or your hiring by any agency. Practice scores measure performance on our original practice content, not on any operational exam.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. Your account is personal to you: one person per account, and you may not share, resell, or transfer access. We may suspend accounts involved in credential sharing, scraping, or attempted redistribution of content.

4. Purchases and access

Full Prep is a one-time purchase of $59 that unlocks 90 days of access from the time of purchase, including the full study question pool, three full-length timed practice simulations, and three behavioral practice inventories. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Access expires automatically at the end of the term — there is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual property

All questions, explanations, images, and other content in the Service are owned by GovAssess LLC and protected by copyright. Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, distribute, publish, or resell any content from the Service.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to circumvent access controls, probe or disrupt the Service, use automated tools to extract content, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Behavioral practice content

Behavioral practice inventories are for format familiarization and self-reflection only. They do not use any publisher's proprietary scoring and are not psychological evaluation, assessment, or advice.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovAssess LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
